Optimizing Concrete Mixer Lubrication with JIANHOR Automatic Systems

Effective lubrication is critical for concrete mixers. These heavy machines have many moving parts – drum rollers, pivot bearings, drive chains, gearboxes and hydraulic pivots – all of which require regular greasing or oiling. Without proper lubrication, friction and wear accelerate, leading to costly breakdowns. Automatic lubrication systems can maximize the life of a mobile telescoping crane and help avoid uncertain downtime. This is the core mission of the JIANHOR team: Guard the life of your equipment with automatic lubrication

Key Lubrication Point on Concrete Mixers

Concrete mixers lubrication system usually covers several key components to ensure the reliable operation of the vehicle under severe working conditions. although there are variations among the models, but it generally includes the following major lubrication points:

●Drum Support Rollers/Trunnions:

- The mixer drum rides on rollers or trunnions (pivot bearings) that must be greased frequently.
- Proper lubrication here lets the heavy drum turn smoothly under load.

  • ●Driveline Lubrication Points:

- Drive shaft: U-joints; Spline.

- Wheel hubs: Some models use a centralized lubrication system for automatic greasing.

- Differential: Gear oil level needs to be checked (not grease point).

  • ●Work Unit Lubrication Points:

- Dump body: Hoist cylinder pins; Body pivot pins.

- Oscillation Frame: Articulated bearings need to be lubricated.

—Features & Benefits

JIANHOR’s automatic lubrication solution is engineered for the tough demands of concrete mixers. Its key benefits include all of the above plus brand-specific strengths:

●Customizable Control: JIANHOR systems use an electronic controller that lets you set lubrication intervals and volumes to match the mixer’s needs. You can program frequent small doses (every 1–6 hours, for example) or larger intervals as desired, ensuring each point gets exactly what it needs.
  • ●High-Pressure Pumping:The JIANHOR pump is a rugged, high-pressure grease pump (often >200 bar) built to push viscous grease through long lines and into tight spots. Even in cold weather or under heavy load, it maintains reliable flow.
  • ●Modular Multi-Point Distribution:Using progressive (divider) valves or multi-line systems, JIANHOR can route grease to dozens of fittings. The pictured pump can be paired with a valve block that feeds 10–20 outletsEach outlet receives a metered shot per cycle, so lubrication is inherently balanced.
  • ●Robust Design:These systems are made for dirty, outdoor conditions. Stainless steel fittings, sealed electronics and high ingress protection mean the system tolerates vibration, concrete splashes and temperature swings. Minimal maintenance is required – far less than keeping dozens of manual grease guns filled and ready.
  • ●Easy Monitoring:Many JIANHOR units include cycle indicators or low-level alarms. You always know that lube is flowing and when the grease reservoir needs refilling. Some models can even interface with the mixer’s panel or remote control.

In short, JIANHOR’s automatic greasing system turns maintenance from a chore into a set-and-forget advantage. Once installed, the system continuously cares for the mixer’s moving parts. Technicians no longer have to interrupt batches for greasing or guess at which fittings were missed.

    DBS Lubricator

The DBS electric grease pump is an electrically driven multiple outlet lubrication unit designed primarily for use with progressive divider valve systems. The unit is capable of housing up to six independent or combined pumping elements for direct feed to lubrication points or through a distribution network of progressive divider valves. These pumps are available with 12 & 24 VDC motors which make them ideal for use in mobile applications. An integral controller is available, or the pump can be controlled by an external controller or by the customer's PLC/DCS/etc.

    SSV Divide Valve

The SSV divide valve distributes lubricant to up to 20 outlet lines at operating pressures up to 4300 psi. This compact valve can be mounted near the lubrication point to automatically and accurately dispense grease throughout the machine. In addition, a switch can be mounted on the circulating spigot to provide electrical feedback to the system controller.
