What is a progressive distributor, you may ask? A progressive distributor is a closed rotary switch for spark ignition internal combustion engines with mechanically timed ignition. Its main function is to route high-voltage current from the ignition coil to the spark plug in the correct ignition sequence and with the correct amount of time. In addition to magneto systems and many modern computer-controlled engines that use crank angle/position sensors, the distributor is fitted with mechanical or inductive circuit breaker switches for opening and closing the main circuit of the ignition coil.
A progressive distributor is a piston distributor that separates the lubricant delivered to the individual outlets along the main line, and the pistons of the metering element move in a specified order.
Ideal for use with central lubrication systems, the progressive distributor is the main component in the lubrication system, where the input grease is evenly and sequentially distributed from the pump elements to the individual outlets. The distributor has a monolithic design (made of a single block and can withstand high voltages). There are different models of progressive dispensers: MVB progressive dispensers and JPQA dispensers. Today we present a progressive distributor type MVB, which is available in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 or 20 oil outlets. Usually the single outlet flow rate is 0.17mlc, which can provide a displacement of 0.34mlc, 0.51mlc, etc. by removing the plug and steel ball and replacing the oil output block, which is an integer multiple of 0.17mlc. This distributor continuously measures the lubricant supply and distributes it to the different lubrication points.
