Pump characteristics

A pump is a machine that transports or pressurizes a fluid. It transmits the mechanical energy of the prime mover or other external energy to the liquid, increasing the liquid energy. The pump is mainly used to transport water, oil, acid and alkali liquid, emulsion, suspension emulsion and liquid metal and other liquids, and can also transport liquids, gas mixtures and liquids containing suspended solids. Pumps can usually be divided into three types of pumps: positive displacement pumps, power pumps and other types of pumps according to the working principle. In addition to classifying by how it works, it can also be classified and named by other methods. For example, according to the driving method, it can be divided into electric pump and water wheel pump; According to the structure, it can be divided into single-stage pump and multi-stage pump; According to the use, it can be divided into boiler feed pump and metering pump; According to the nature of the liquid conveyed, it can be divided into water pump, oil pump and slurry pump. According to the shaft structure, it can be divided into linear pump and traditional pump. The pump can only transport the logistics with the fluid as the medium, and cannot transport the solid. A lubrication pump is a type of pump.
Affected by industrial conditions, corrosion, erosion, wear and other phenomena often occur, resulting in the failure of many equipment. Therefore, the pump is one of the indispensable equipment for many enterprises.
The working process of the lubricating oil pump: when the meshed gear rotates in the pump body, the gear teeth continue to enter and exit and mesh. In the suction chamber, the gear teeth gradually exit the meshing state, so that the volume of the suction chamber gradually increases, the pressure decreases, and the liquid enters the suction chamber under the action of liquid level pressure, and enters the discharge chamber with the gear teeth. In the discharge chamber, the gear teeth gradually enter the meshing state, the gear between the teeth is gradually occupied by the gear teeth, the volume of the discharge chamber is reduced, the liquid pressure in the discharge chamber increases, so the liquid is discharged from the discharge port of the pump to the outside of the pump, the gear side continues to rotate, the above process is continuously carried out, forming a continuous oil transfer process.
The lubrication pump is mainly suitable for transporting lubricating oil in the lubrication system of various mechanical equipment, and transporting lubricating oil with a temperature below 300 °C.
